The Advantages of the Nano – Scintillators:
After the passing of an X-ray beam through the layer of Nano particles, as a result of scattering of photo – electrons on their boarders, the energy of the secondary X-ray quantum's is sharply reduced and it will cause compression of excitation region.
As a result, the X-ray excitation region is compressed from usual 100 microns to 10 microns and less.

Prospective resonant Toroid Structure Luminophore
Group of researchers from the California Institute of Technology in cooperation with the Center for Nano-photonics of Amsterdam Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics got for the toroid cavity with Purcell factor, equal to 883, which corresponds to the increase of luminosity by almost three orders of magnitude with a quantum efficiency of 99.42%.
We and our partners have developed and patented the technology of making and using toroid phosphor particles for use in X-ray intensifying screens and electro-optical converters.
